Round 12 saw Johannes make a lighting start, which moved him from 6th on the grid to 3rd after problems with traffic in qualifying. On lap 2 took the lead and open up a significant lead. By the last lap Johannes had a comfortable lead to claim his and Mark Burdett Motorsport fourth victory of the season and finish 2nd in the 2009 Barc Formula Renault Championship.
